What you ask us most often (FAQ).

I need to add a copywriter or coder to a client in Pobo, is that possible?

As a standard, we offer invitations to collaborators starting from the PROFI plan, however, an agency account can add a coder or copywriter to the client without limitation, we do not limit this function in any way.

Is it possible to add a custom widget to Pobo Page Builder that we code?

It is possible, but we always try to use ready-made widgets and customize the look with styles. Modern CSS allows, for example, to change the order of elements or remove the white background for images. In practice, an excellent result can be achieved using existing widgets.

If you still need to add a widget to the editor (e.g. on client request), please email us in advance.

Is it possible to modify the HTML structure of finished widgets?

The structure of the widgets is fixed for stable and predictable results. For this reason it is not possible to change the structure, but nothing prevents you from modifying the HTML with JavaScript, the class names are static and do not change in any way.

The BEM methodology we use is so called low-level, there is no need to deal with class nesting, ordering and dependencies.

How does Pobo specifically help the coder in editing the look and feel and working with styles?

Pobo makes it much easier to create and modify the look and feel by working with a ready-made HTML structure styled using the BEM methodology. Modifications in styles are made using variables, eliminating the need to write class names and improving code navigation.

It also makes it easier for coders to not have to upload the modifications to a CSS file and then FTP them. The integrated CDN takes care of minification (shrinking) of the code for faster loading on the e-shop and invalidation (reset) of the so-called cache.

Is there documentation on styling templates?

We are preparing the documentation as such, however the styling is very simple and we will demonstrate it in the online vector template training.

How much can I modify the appearance of labels via CSS variables?

Each widget has almost all properties set using variables that can be edited. As a rule, you can set the size, boldness, outer (margin) and inner (padding) indentation of headings,paragraphs, bullets, tables, etc.

For elements that wrap content, you can set the internal and external indentation, alignment in the grid, height of photos, etc.

Widgets as such can be set individually for background (color or image), horizontal harmony (indentation), :before, :after, etc.

In total, there are 4,964 variables that can be used.

Is the agency account also valid for Shopify?

Yes, the agency account and its terms are the same for Shopify clients.
