Copy your whole catalogue to another e-shop, translated

Opening a new market? Pobo copies products, categories and articles from one Shoptet e-shop to another, translates them and brings the Pobo descriptions along.

What the catalogue copy does for a new market

Weeks of copying and translating turn into a plan you approve.

The whole catalogue, translated

Pobo copies products, categories and articles from one Shoptet e-shop to another and translates them into the language of the target e-shop.

  • Products with variants, parameters, brands and photos
  • Categories in the same tree
  • Blog articles and their sections
  • Names, descriptions and SEO title and description translated

You see the plan before anything is written

Pobo first reads both e-shops and prepares a plan. Nothing is created on the target until you approve it.

  • How many products, categories and articles will be created
  • What already exists on the target and will only be paired
  • A suggested match for categories you translated by hand
  • The price of the whole copy before you start

Pobo descriptions copied or kept in sync

Choose whether the target gets its own translated copy of the descriptions or whether they stay mirrored from the source.

  • Copy: translated descriptions the target can edit on its own
  • Mirror: a change on the source shows up on the target
  • Templates, prompts and styles of Pobo come along
  • The look of the descriptions stays the same on both e-shops

Nothing gets duplicated

Products, categories and parameters that already exist on the target are paired, not created again.

Safe on a live e-shop

New products are created hidden and without a price. You set prices and publish them when you are ready.

Only what you choose

Copy the whole catalogue, selected categories or a list of products.

How the catalogue copy differs from doing it by hand

Copying by hand takes weeks and an export loses variants, translations and Pobo descriptions on the way.

You stay in control

Nothing is written without your approval

The plan only reads both e-shops. The copy starts only after you confirm it.

Nothing is deleted on the target

The copy only adds what is missing. What the target already has stays untouched.

You pay only for what was created

The estimated credits are reserved at the start. What was not created is returned when the copy finishes.

Running it again fills the gaps

A second copy for the same pair of e-shops creates only what the earlier ones did not.

How It Works

From one e-shop to the next market in four steps.

  1. 1

    Choose the target e-shop

Pick the Shoptet e-shop to copy to and what to copy: everything, categories or products.

  2. 2

    Check the plan

See what will be created, what will be paired and what it will cost.

  3. 3

    Start the copy

Pobo creates the categories, products and articles in the right order and translates them.

  4. 4

    Set prices and publish

New products wait hidden on the target until you give them a price and publish them.

Frequently asked questions

Which platforms does the copy support?

For now it copies from one Shoptet e-shop to another Shoptet e-shop. Both e-shops have to be connected to Pobo and you need access to both.

Which languages can it translate into?

Into the language of the target e-shop: Czech, Slovak, English, German, Polish or Hungarian.

How much does the copy cost?

10 credits for every created product or article and 1 credit for every created category. What is only paired with an existing item is free. You see the estimate before you start and pay only for what was really created.

Will the copy overwrite products on the target?

No. Existing products, categories and parameters are paired and left as they are. The copy only adds what is missing, and new products are created hidden and without a price.

Do the two e-shops stay in sync?

The catalogue is copied once. If you choose mirroring, the Pobo descriptions stay in sync, so a change on the source shows up on the target.

What if I add products later?

Run the copy again for the same pair of e-shops. It creates only what the earlier copies did not.
