What does WYSIWYG mean?

WYSIWYG stands for What You See Is What You Get. It refers to an editor or interface in which, while editing, you already see the content roughly as it will look in its final form, for example on a website, in an email or in a document. Compared to working in code, it lets you create content visually, which makes editing faster and clearer even for users without technical knowledge.
