What does Wireframe mean?

A wireframe is a simple layout design of a page or part of it. It shows where the main elements such as headings, texts, images, buttons or forms will be placed, but does not yet deal with the final graphics. It serves mainly to make it clear how the page will be structured and how users will move around it. In practice, a wireframe helps design content and functionality before the final design work begins.
