What does Time on page mean?
Time on page is the amount of time a visitor spends on a specific page of a website or e-shop. In analytics tools, it helps estimate whether the content is interesting, clear and useful enough for users.
On a product page, a longer time may mean that the customer is looking at photos, reading the description, comparing parameters or looking for answers to questions. However, the metric alone does not always indicate success. Too long a time can also mean that the customer finds it hard to navigate the page. It is therefore advisable to track time on page together with other data, such as conversions, exit rate or CTA clicks. In Pobo Page Builder, this relates to a clear content structure, clear headings and logically arranged widgets.
