What does Remarketing mean?

Remarketing is a form of online advertising aimed at users who have previously visited a website, viewed products or taken another specific action. The goal is to reach them again and remind them of an offer they have already shown interest in. In e-commerce, remarketing is often used for people who viewed a product or added goods to the cart but did not complete the order. Ads can be shown in search engines, on social media or partner websites. Remarketing helps build on the previous interaction and increase the likelihood of conversion, while respecting privacy rules and the handling of user data.
