What does Product feed mean?

A product feed is a structured data file containing information about products from an e-shop, used to automatically transfer them to other systems. It most often includes the product name, price, availability, URL, image, category, brand, EAN or other parameters. Feeds are used to connect to price comparison sites, advertising platforms, marketplaces or external catalogs. Common formats are XML, CSV or JSON. It is important that the data is updated regularly and matches the actual state of the e-shop. A good product feed helps automate the distribution of product data, reduce errors and ensure consistent information across different sales and marketing channels.
