What does On-page factors mean?

On-page factors are elements and properties directly on a web page that affect how understandable it is to users and search engines and can influence its visibility in search results. They include the quality and relevance of the content, heading structure, meta title, internal links, URLs, images, structured data or keyword usage. The usability of the page and its technical implementation also play an important role. On-page SEO focuses on optimizing these elements so that the page matches user intent as closely as possible, is clear and search engines can correctly understand its content and meaning.
