What does Native advertising mean?

Native advertising is paid advertising content designed to blend naturally into the environment in which it appears through its look, format and execution. It can take the form of a recommended article, a social media post, a video, a product recommendation or other content that matches the style of the platform. Its goal is to feel less intrusive than a classic banner and offer users relevant content. Even so, it must be clearly labeled as advertising or sponsored content so that it is obvious it is a paid message. Native advertising is used to build awareness, drive traffic and support sales.
