What does Layout mean?

Layout refers to the way individual elements are positioned and arranged on a web page, in an e-shop, application or other digital interface. It determines the position of headings, texts, images, buttons, navigation, forms or product cards and creates the overall page structure. A well-designed layout helps users quickly understand content, find their way around and easily find important information or the next step. It should create a clear visual hierarchy, be consistent and adapted to different screen sizes. In e-commerce, layout significantly affects the user experience, the clarity of the offer and the course of the purchase process.
