What does Heatmap mean?
A heatmap is a visual way of displaying data that uses colors to show where users engage most and least on a web page. In web analytics, it can show where visitors click or tap, how far they scroll on a page or which parts they pay the most attention to. Warmer colors usually indicate higher activity, cooler colors lower activity. Heatmaps help reveal popular and overlooked elements, non-functional or confusing parts of the interface and places where users leave the page. In e-commerce, they are used to optimize layout, content, CTA elements and the overall user experience.
