What does Headline mean?

A headline is the main heading whose job is to quickly grab attention and communicate the most important information about the content, offer, product or service. It is used on web pages, in e-shops, articles, ads, newsletters or social media posts. A good headline should be short, clear and clearly match what the user will find on the page or in the following content. In marketing, it often highlights the main benefit, problem or reason to keep reading or take a certain action. It can have a significant impact on the first impression, click-through rate and whether visitors pay further attention to the content.
