What does Entry page mean?

An entry page is the page through which a user first arrives at a website. It can be the homepage, a product page, an article, a category or a specially created landing page. Its job is to engage the visitor, quickly give them important information and guide them to the next step. In marketing, the entry page is important because it often determines the first impression, orientation on the website and whether the user will continue.
