What does E-shop operator mean?
An e-shop operator is a common term for a person who runs or manages an online store and takes part in its day-to-day operation. This may be the e-shop owner, an entrepreneur or an employee responsible for its operation. Their work can include managing products, prices and orders, communicating with customers, marketing, logistics, evaluating sales data or coordinating the technical development of the e-shop. The scope depends on the size of the store. In smaller e-shops, one person often handles several roles, while in larger companies the individual areas are split among specialists. In Czech e-commerce, the term „e-shopař“ is not a formal job title but is commonly used for e-shop operators or managers.
