What does E-shop layout mean?

E-shop layout refers to the way individual elements and content sections are arranged on the pages of an online store. It concerns the placement of navigation, categories, products, filters, images, texts, buttons, the cart or recommended products. A well-designed layout creates a clear visual hierarchy, helps customers quickly understand page content and makes it easier to navigate and reach a purchase. It should be consistent across the e-shop and adapted to different screen sizes. Layout is part of both UX and visual design and affects how easily a customer finds a product, the information they need or the next step in the order.
