What does Dropshipping mean?

Dropshipping is a business model in which an e-shop sells goods that it does not physically store or ship itself. When a customer places an order, the e-shop passes it on to a supplier, wholesaler or manufacturer, who packs the product and ships it directly to the customer. The advantages are a lower initial investment and simpler inventory management, because the e-shop does not have to buy large quantities of goods in advance. The disadvantage can be less control over availability, packaging quality, delivery speed or returns.

In e-commerce, it is therefore important to have reliable suppliers, clear product information and well-set communication with customers. In Pobo Page Builder, a dropshipping e-shop can use quality content mainly to explain product benefits and build trust.
