What does Customer lifecycle mean?

The customer lifecycle describes the individual stages a customer goes through in their relationship with a brand, from first contact through consideration and purchase to repeat orders or loyalty. It helps understand what the customer needs at a given moment and how to communicate with them correctly. In marketing, it is used for better targeting of content, campaigns and customer care at different stages of their decision-making.
