What does Customer journey mean?

Customer journey refers to the entire process a person goes through from their first contact with a brand to a purchase and further communication after the order. In an e-shop, it can start with an ad, a Google search, a social media post or a recommendation. It continues with visiting the website, browsing products, reading descriptions, comparing, adding to cart, completing the order and a follow-up email, review or repeat purchase.

Tracking the customer journey helps an e-shop understand where customers hesitate, what they are missing and how to make buying easier. In Pobo Page Builder, it relates mainly to clear product page content, clear information and logically arranged widgets that guide the customer forward.
