What does Customer behavior mean?

Customer behavior refers to the way people search for information, make decisions, buy and respond to a brand's or e-shop's offer. It includes which products they view, what they click on, how long they take to decide, what they add to the cart, whether they complete the order or come back to buy again. It is influenced by needs, price, experience, trust, reviews, availability, marketing and other factors. In e-commerce, customer behavior is tracked using analytics data, heatmaps, surveys or user testing. Understanding it helps adapt content, offers, communication and the purchase process to customers' real needs.
