What does Custom label mean?
A custom label is a user-defined label used mainly in product feeds, for example for Google Merchant Center and advertising campaigns in Google Ads. It lets an e-shop internally divide products according to its own rules, which are usually not visible to customers. This could be season, margin, clearance, bestseller, stock level or product priority. Custom labels then help filter, segment and evaluate products in advertising. It is therefore not a regular label on the website but rather a helper attribute for managing and optimizing campaigns. In Pobo, this term can relate to working with product data, content and how an e-shop prepares products for other marketing tools.
