What does CTA mean?

CTA stands for Call to Action. It is an element on a website meant to guide visitors to the next step, such as buying a product, adding an item to the cart, registering, downloading material or sending an inquiry. A CTA can take the form of a button, link, banner or a short sentence in the text.

In an e-shop, it is important for the CTA to be clear, prominent and understandable. Customers should immediately know what will happen after clicking and why they should act right now. A well-written CTA supports orientation on the page and can increase the number of orders and other conversions. In Pobo Page Builder, CTAs are used, for example, in product descriptions, landing pages, banners or content widgets.
