What does Claim mean?

A claim is a short marketing message that captures a brand, product or the main benefit of an offer. It often takes the form of a slogan, motto or sentence used in advertising, on a website, in banners or on product pages. A good claim should be clear, easy to remember and quickly say why the brand or product is interesting to the customer. It does not have to describe all features but should capture the main idea or benefit.

In e-commerce, a claim can help attract attention and support the customer's decision. If a claim contains a specific promise, for example about performance, quality or results, it should be true and verifiable.
