In this case study, we will show how we increased the number of orders for our e-shop by modifying the product pages.

We modified the pages of 15 best-selling products of H2Ocool e-shop using Pobo Page Builder and then ran A/B testing. We will show you how we proceeded and what results the testing yielded.


Competitive advantage?

The first step in creating the product pages was to determine the competitive advantage of the e-shop. Why should a customer shop here? How does the e-shop stand out above the competition?

H2Ocool is a Czech e-shop and a manufacturer of chlorine-free disinfectants. Its competitive advantages are as follows:

What are customers interested in?

Next, we focused on customers when redesigning the product pages. The product description should contain information about the product and the purchase that is important to the customer. This includes, for example, the shipping method, the speed of dispatch and the options for contacting the seller.

We have also listed answers to the most common questions of customers for the products. In the case of H2Ocool, these included information about the use and composition of the products.

No code or Pobo Page Builder

Pobo is a tool for e-shops that allows you to add text and visual content to product pages. Simply and without knowledge of HTML and CSS language. This allows you to provide your customers with much more information about your product. You will make it easier to select products and help the e-shop at the same time in organic search and overall online marketing.

The Pobo editor takes care of everything for you - HTML, styles, responsive display that lets the site know what device it is currently being displayed on, and fast loading. Shared labels are also a great advantage. These helped us set up this test in about 3 hours of work.

Google Optimize A/B test setup

For testing the e-shop we used Google Optimize, which can split traffic evenly: 50% vs. 50%. The tool is used for individual testing and evaluation, which you can clearly see in Google Analytics. The test was set up as follows:

Anyone who came to the H2Ocool e-shop was given an A or B label and assigned to one of these two groups for measurement. One user was shown the old label and the other the new label created via Pobo Page Builder.
