How to copy product descriptions between e-shops in Pobo Page Builder?

This feature is used to copy created product descriptions from one e-shop to another. It is useful, for example, when you offer the same range of products in multiple e-shops and do not want to create the descriptions manually again.

When copying, you can choose whether the content should also be translated, how the widgets should be inserted, and what status the products should have after copying.

1. Select the products

In the product overview, first select the products whose widgets you want to copy to another e-shop. To select all products at once, you can use the Select all button, or select only specific products manually.

2. Open the tools menu

After selecting the products, click the Tools button. A menu of bulk actions that you can use for all selected products will open.

3. Select copy widgets between e-shops

In the tools menu, click the Copy widgets between e-shops option. A window will open where you can set up copying widgets to another e-shop using the EAN code or product code.

4. Select the target e-shop

In the Target e-shop field, select the e-shop to which you want to copy the widgets. Based on the selected e-shop, Pobo will check whether it can find matching products using the EAN code or product code.

5. Select how to copy the widgets

In the Copying options field, select how the widgets should be transferred to the target e-shop. You can either insert them after the existing widgets or replace those already created for the product.

6. Set up translation during copying

If you want the content to be automatically translated into the language of the target e-shop during copying, check the Translate content during copying option.

Use this option especially when copying widgets between language versions of an e-shop. The content will then be transferred directly in the corresponding language.

7. Translate product metadata

If you also want to transfer basic product information along with the widgets, check the Translate product metadata option.

This option translates the product name, short description, SEO title, and meta description. It is especially useful when copying between language versions of an e-shop and you want to transfer not only the widget content but also the product's additional text.
