Hello Michael, Your brand needs no introduction. But many people associate it mainly with phones for the elderly. What other products do you currently offer?
Yes you are right, but the Alligator is so much more than that. We offer a large range of rugged phones, smartphones, smartwatches, wireless headphones and speakers, as well as accessories for all phones, from fast chargers to power banks, cases and car mounts. All in all, that's thousands of items.
Why did you decide to use Pobo Page Builder in the beginning?
We needed a tool that would allow us to make labels that look professional and support responsive display, simply and preferably without deep coding knowledge. We got a recommendation for Pobo Page Builder from the creator of our Shoptet template and there was no problem right after trying it out. Thanks to the support we received from the Pobo team, we were able to create the vast majority of the content we required. In the end, we even managed to do it on our own when switching from another system even though the Pobo team was ready to provide us with assistance.
Sophisticated descriptions increase the number of completed orders by 20% on average. Yet many e-shops "neglect" product pages. How do you see it? Are descriptions primarily a sales tool for you or rather a way to emphasize the overall design and brand image?
As our e-shop is also our brand image website, the quality of the product descriptions is of course of paramount importance to us.
You have a well-known product that is sold by a large number of brick-and-mortar and online stores. What is the main benefit you see in having your own e-shop?
Our current website now combines both the main brand image website and the e-shop. Originally this was not the case, but we felt that the e-shop function somehow belonged to the image of the website and users often blamed us for not being able to buy some products directly from us, especially when it comes to spare parts or something special that our distributors do not normally include in their offer.
Could you please briefly review your experience with our supplement?
We are satisfied. Even people who are not coders can work with the caption editor, so they can focus on the content that matters in the first place. We were pleased to see the newly launched Live Designer, which allows almost full control over the design, including setting the background color and text right from the wysiwyg editor.
Can you give us a tip at the end of the Poba on what we could improve?
We could of course invent more and more widgets that we would like, but it is clear that if the whole thing is to work, less is sometimes better.
In Live Designer it would still be nice to add editing of some other widgets that are not yet supported in Live Designer, but I believe we will see 
. The question is whether some attributes that are editable in Live Designer (like background color) would be good to integrate directly into the label editor.
