Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to us. Can you start by telling us a little bit about your company?
We are a family business, which we initially established as a natural person and subsequently as a limited liability company. At the very beginning we were only focused on aquarium fish and aquarium fish sales although we have been breeding the amazing Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed for a long time. Unfortunately Covid made this option impossible for us. In his time, fish stopped being imported into the country, so we had to change our focus. We now deal with pet supplies as a whole, so you can find items for every animal you can think of.
How did you first get into using Pobo Page Builder?
As I said at the beginning was aquarium business and I created the e-shop myself through another provider's template. At the time of covid, I had to expand the goods and the type of e-shop was insufficient, so we switched to Shoptet, where I was helped by external staff to get it up and running, and I subsequently fine-tuned the look and other options and in doing so I came across this add-on.
You have both a brick-and-mortar branch and an e-shop. What is the relationship between your online e-shop and your physical store?
We've had the stone shop for a year so far and it's kind of our baby that we wanted, but our adult child is the e-shop. The shop also serves as our outlet for just the e-shop. We can meet our customers.
Would you recommend other companies to have a physical branch in addition to an e-shop?
First of all, I would point out that it's more time and money consuming than if you e-shop, but I would probably recommend it.
How important is the appearance of your e-shop to you?
I would say very, everything has to fit as it should and that's why I take pride in the texts, so that the texts have all the information about the product, but there is still something to add and tweak:-)
What do you find most useful about Pobo Page Builder?
Within Pobo, I make the most use of product labels, copy, all widgets with images and videos. I've also started a blog, I'm also working on category text, but I'm creating it myself, so it's slower. Pobo saves us time and also increases traffic to the e-shop.
Do you have any tips or advice for other Pobo Page Builder users or aspiring e-tailers trying to achieve e-commerce success?
For me I definitely recommend it, no coding experience is necessary and they can handle the e-shop themselves. And to achieve success it is necessary to dedicate yourself 100% to it, sometimes unfortunately at the expense of the family, but I guess that's a bit necessary in any business, but I try to make it up to the family afterwards.
