The year 2024 was packed with news and great moments for us at Pobo! We brought a lot of new features, improved AI, and participated in exciting e-commerce events. Join us for a sneak peek at the highlights of what happened during the year!
In January, we released a new generation of vector templates that allow coders to modify or fix the appearance without writing extra code. For more technical users, we created a tutorial on setting the appearance using variables in CSS.
In Pobo you can use variables to adjust the typography of headings, bullets, paragraphs (text size, line spacing, color, indentation, ...) as well as widgets.
At the same time we have an article aboutAI features in Pobo Page Builder coming out on the Shoptet blog.
On our blog we have also published a list of conferences and events where you will have the opportunity to meet the Pobo team:) + we have moved into our office in Dům Radost in Žižkov, Prague!
In February we attended the premiere ofE-commerce Prague with interesting lectures, international speakers and well-known companies.
Although it was the first time the conference was held, everything was well organized and the course was smooth. We were happy to see interesting lectures and had the opportunity to have fun with some of the conference visitors. And not to forget the great catering!
Pobo now offers two template styling modes. The old version of the label styling system suitable for Pobo designer users. And a generic label styling system using CSS variables.
We also published articles on our blog about the most common mistakes in writing labels and a small tutorial on writing e-commerce blogs.
In April, our colleague Michal Štikar participated in another E-commerce day. The conference was attended by more than 30 experts dealing with a wide range of e-commerce topics. The conference focused on e-shops and offered an interesting programme of lectures, workshops with e-commerce experts, a consulting zone and networking opportunities.
With our colleague Michal you could learn how to optimize e-shop landing pages. How much influence reviews, store information and other factors can have on customer decision making and e-shop success.
Reshoper is an exhibition and conference festival focused on everything related to e-commerce - from new technologies to effective marketing strategies. At Pobo, we look forward to Reshoper every year. It's an opportunity to meet new trends and, most importantly, new people.

In June we published 2 informative articles. For clarity, we summarized 5 AI features in Pobo and included help links. We also considered frequently asked questions and wrote a small tutorial on creating good product categories. And with lots of examples too!
We have implemented an amazing feature in Pobo, namely bulk AI-assisted annotation. Creating content for dozens of products takes only a few clicks. We also added the ability to approve descriptions and a new gallery layout.
How can you start a company blog? What to write in it and is it even worth it? We answered these and other questions in our August Pobo article, full of tips for a successful e-commerce blog.
There are several great things coming to Poba in September. The first is the ability to restore the original caption to the widget. By clicking a button, you can restore the caption to its original form, if necessary. There is also a new agency collaboration section in Pobo, where you can directly connect with an agency trained in Pobo Page Builder.
New tutorial videos have also been added to our YouTube channel:)
In October, work on the new Pobo Designer is finishing! With the new integrated designer, both global and one-off customizations can be made easily. Designer 2.0 also brings the ability to influence the responsive design of labels on different types of devices. Along with live preview on smaller devices and custom CSS code.
Our colleague Tomas also gives an interview to Vas-hosting where he talks about the shift of Pobo Page Builder, the role of AI in Pobo and trying new technologies. For the more technical among you, it's a very interesting read :)
We added a great new feature to Poba - copying descriptions between e-shops. So now you can easily drag and drop descriptions from one e-shop to another. This feature is especially useful if you have, for example, a Czech and Slovak e-shop!
We are also celebrating the milestone of 500,000 products modified with Pobo Page Builder!
In December, e-shoppers can find inspiration in our testimonials and our newly created sample e-shop. Where we have lots of examples of customization of different types of products.
Pobo is also moving to a new server that has an order of magnitude more power and data space. For clients with a higher number of products, this will make it faster to load reports, filter and search for products.
