In this article we will try to explain the main differences between Pobo Page Builder and the standard editor that is integrated in almost every e-shop.
1. Editor speed and efficiency of writing labels
When developing the editor in Pobo Page Builder, we focused primarily on efficiency and well-built basics. The administration interface is based on technology used by e.g. Facebook (reactive apps), which allows us to create a sophisticated, yet simple, fast and friendly user experience.
Finding a product, adding a widget with a description is a matter of seconds, so we put a lot of emphasis on speed.
2. Uniform appearance of labels
To set a uniform appearance of labels, we created a tool called Pobo Deisgner. Deisgner makes it very easy to set colors, sizes, indentation and other properties for paragraphs, headings, numbered lists, tables including widgets in our editor without knowing HTML and CSS (cascading styles).
The advantage of this way of creating the look is the possibility of changing the styling later (e.g. after changing the e-shop template) or additional styling of newly added widgets.
Pobo Designer is also compatible with all templates available on Shoptet.
3. Responsive display
Responsiveness (optimized display for mobile, tablet and PC at the same time) is hardly achievable in a classic editor. It is usually necessary to contact a coder who will code responsive HTML based on the graphic template or wireframe, add styles and everything needs to be inserted into the e-shop in a rather complicated way.

4. Lazyload for images (delayed loading)
The so-called lazyload is an image loading methodology that works by loading an image only when it is in the display area of the screen. Delayed loading of images is very important for the evaluation of the speed of the e-shop, which for example Google takes into account in the SERPs and Google Ads, so this issue should not be underestimated.
Very often we encounter cases when an e-shop has e.g. a PNG image with a size of +1MB and a width of 2500px uploaded in the content, without the need to display such a large and bulky photo to visitors.
