Why the shutdown is necessary
In order to keep the website, editor and infrastructure running smoothly, we need to migrate some of the data to a more robust server that will allow for further development. This move will unfortunately require a few days of restrictions that will affect all users, specifically expect the following:
- The editor will be shut down on 25.12 at 22:00, then the actual migration will begin, which will be completed on 28.12 22:00. The editor will be unavailable during this period.
- The website (www.pobo.cz) will also be down from 25.12 at 22:00 to 26.12 06:00.
- Descriptions and images will continue to be displayed on your e-shops - as before.
- The marketplace and analytics functionality will be down from 12/25 at 10:00 PM to 12/28 at 10:00 PM.
During the migration period, Pobo Page Builder will not be able to be installed and uninstalled due to API feature limitations.
Why is the downtime so long
Unfortunately, we are working with huge data and it is imperative that the migration goes smoothly and in one step. For this reason, it is not possible to speed up these steps in any way, however, we know from experience that we always get everything done before the deadline. Therefore, the downtime may be shorter than we declare above.
We have deliberately scheduled the downtime between holidays to minimize the disruption to our clients as much as possible.
What Pobo will bring you on the new server
The new server has an order of magnitude more performance and data space. For clients with a higher number of products, it will be faster to load reports, filter, search, etc.
